The road to getting pregnant, pregnancy itself or adoption is as individual as we all are. Some journeys are easy, some difficult, filled with many challenges but the end result makes it all worth it. I am here to capture your journey, and to create a photographic document of this life-changing stage in your life.

I offer natural maternity photography in Surrey, London and the South East for couples and families who want relaxed, meaningful photographs documenting pregnancy and early parenthood. My maternity and bump-to-baby photography sessions are designed to capture genuine connection, whether at home, outdoors in nature or in my “pop-up” studio.

Many of my clients choose maternity photography as a way to preserve the excitement, anticipation and emotion of this unique stage in their lives before welcoming their new baby.

Maternity Photography Sessions in Surrey, London & the South East

The changes your body goes through during pregnancy to sustain life are truly amazing! A maternity photo session will capture your amazing body during pregnancy but also this special time in your life, before you and your partner become a family with your new baby. As Surrey maternity photographer, I offer a couple of different options for expectant mothers and fathers.

Outdoor and Home Sessions

My standard, 2h pregnancy photo session takes place at your home or at a location of your choice. I use natural light to create beautiful portraits of you, your bump and your partner. Having a photoshoot at home or in your favourite park generally creates a relaxing setting for candid photographs. We can meet in the Surrey Hills, or in one of London’s iconic parks like Richmond park for a natural outdoor session. I am also happy to take detailed shots of the nursery or clothes you have prepared for your new arrival in these photo sessions.

Studio Sessions

The second option is to meet once in every trimester and document your changing body. The final photograph in this series would be you holding your baby, soon after the birth. This option, sometimes referred to as 'bump to baby' photo session, can be done in my home studio or in the comfort of your home. These multiple photo sessions are a great way to have a record of differet stages of your pregnancy, and a reference of how tiny your new baby was.

How & When to Book Your Maternity Session

Before the photoshoot, I will correspond with you by email, phone or Skype to go through your choice of locations and clothes. Some of my clients like to have the whole photoshoot done at home while others like to divide their time between home and their favourite park or place outside. For bump to baby sessions, we can discuss backgrounds, poses and locations. The best time to do your maternity photoshoot is towards the end of your second, or beginning of the third trimester when the bump is clearly defined. To book your photoshoot, simply contact me and let me know what your needs and requirements are, and I will get back to you within 24h with a response.

What to Wear for Maternity Photos

Please wear something that feels comfortable, as that is the most important thing. If you feel comfortable, you will look great too! In terms of colours, neutral colours work really well but if you like to wear colour, it might be a good idea to discuss what your partner will wear so that you complement each other.

Can Partners, Children & Dogs Be Included?

Absolutely! I love working with dogs, they always add a wonderful energy to any photo session.

Studio, Outdoor & At-Home Maternity Photography

I work across London and Surrey, and I am also more than happy to travel to other destinations which are within 30 miles from where I live. For locations further afield, I charge an addition travel and accomodation (if required) cost. Please contact me if you would like to enquire.

Fees

My 2h maternity photo session fee is £195. This includes

• A pre-consultation. I will arrange a phone call or Skype to chat about the photoshoot

• Up to 2h shooting time at a location of your choice*

• A private viewing gallery of 50+ images available to purchase

• My time and travel on the day

• £50 voucher towards newborn photoshoot

My Bump to Baby photo session fee is £795. This includes

• A pre-consultation. I will arrange a phone call or Skype to chat about the photoshoot

• Up to four separate photo sessions at a location of your choice*

• A selection of digital files on a beautifully presented memory drive

• £50 voucher towards newborn photoshoot

I am happy to design an album for you with photos from your shoot, or frame photographs from your Bumb to Baby photo session. Please get in touch if you would like to arrange/enquire about this. 

* Location of choice is park or outside area which is within 30 mile radius from where I live. For distances further afield, I ask for an additional travel charge.

Fine Art Prints, Albums & Wall Art

Adoption Photography

I have been asked by an adoptive family to document an important milestone in their journey to adopting their child. It has been a very touching experience, and I feel privilaged to have documented such a big day for them. Adoption photography can capture a first meeting or the day you officially become adoptive parents, and can provide lasting memories for you and your children.
