How do Family Photography Sessions Work?

Before The Session
The family photography sessions are open to all members of your family - parent(s), child(ren), newborn, pets. All are welcome! After our initial correspondance, I will send you my standard Ts&Cs for you to look over and sign. I will also send a Photo Session Guide which contains some helpful information and tips for the photoshoot. The Photo Guide contains a link to a Pinterest mood board which has inspiration on what to wear. I will help you choose the best location for your family photoshoot.

During the session
My family photo sessions are relaxing and fun. I try to make everyone feel at ease and take candid shots of the whole family enjoying their time together. I occasionally give gentle direction which helps clients relax and sets a scene for candid photography, but otherwise I work unobtrusively. Family photoshoots last roughly 2h, and they can be arranged either in the comfort of your home or outside at your favourite park, on on your favourite walk

After The Session
Within two weeks of your family photoshoot, you will be sent a link to a private, password-protected gallery, featuring 50+ digital images. You will have two weeks to select your favourite images, and choose your digital collection package and / or artwork. I will be there to help guide you through the selection process, and help you decide how you'd like to enjoy your family photos in terms of artwork. You will have a choice of framed prints, fine art albums or simple digital collections - the choice is yours!
