North London Family Photography / Richmond-upon-Thames and Surrey Family Photographer

I am making the most of being snowed in to catch up with my blog posts! I have done a family photoshoot for Mumta and her family back in December, the weekend after another snow storm parts of the country have experienced. The traffic was so bad it was reminiscent of apocaliptic film scences and we had to re-arrange our photo session. It was cold but sunny on the day of our photoshoot, and it was lovely to catch up with Mumta and her family which has grown since the last time I photographed them. The family was moving countries so wanted to have a few photos of their home and their local walk as a memory before they imigrated. It was great fun (although a bit of a challenge!) trying to follow the kids play and take some action shots but I am really pleased with the resulting images. I hope these photos provide a lasting memory for the family, and I can't wait to see them all when (and if ) they come back to Britain! Ruskin Park Family Photoshoot / Richmond upon Thames Family Photographer

It is wonderful taking photographs for return clients as I get to see their family grow and expand. I photographed Emma and her family on a few occasions before, and this time we arranged the photo session to mark her younger daughter's first birthday. We met in beautiful Ruskin park in Denmark Hill to take some location shots. I passed by the park many times and always wanted to visit but never had an opportunity. The park was named afrter John Ruskin, who was a prominant art critic in the Victorian era and lived in the area. I also discovered that it was used as a location for Pink Floyd's first photoshoot, shot by photographer Colin Prime. The park, with its many distinct sections, provided the perfect backdrop for family photographs. It was a beautiful but very cold November morning when we met, still a few leaves left on some of the branches. I took several family portraits around the bandstand, and then moved around the park to find suitable backdrops for children portraits and action shots (and to keep warm!). After about an hour in the cold, we headed back for a cup of tea and some play time at home. There I captured the girls having some quiet reading time with their dad, playing games and enjoying each other's company. Here is a selection of some of the photos from the day. I met and photographed some amazing people (and pets!) this year. I can't wait to face many adventures and challenges 2018 will bring. Hope you all have a great evening and a fantastic New Year!

Family Photographer London and Surrey / St Day celebration

Today is my family Slava, a serbian orthodox tradition celebrating our family's patron saint, archangel Michael. It is a day spent with family and friends, so to mark the day I look back at some of my recent photoshoots which captured happy families across London and Surrey.

Richmond and Surrey Wedding Photographer in Primrose Hill

I met Paulina and Chris through a friend of mine so was delighted when I received and email asking me if I could take some photos to mark their engagement.

As Richmond upon Thames and Surrey wedding photographer, I work all across London, Surrey and the South East. The couple wanted a mix of greenery and urban atmosphere so we decided on London as location, and in particular Regent's park and Primrose hill as our two locations of choice. We had to work our way through the crowds in Regent's park but did eventually manage to find a few quiet spots which provided a beautiful autumnal backdrop for our photos. After some celebrity spotting (Liv Tyler and Woody Harrelson hanging out in Regent's park!) we headed towards Primrose Hill for a few city shots. We found quaint cobbled streets and lovely colourful houses which were the perfect setting for Paulina and Chris' city shots.

It is always nice to do a photoshoot for someone I know, and this one was no exeption! Below is a selection of my favourite photos from the day. York House Wedding Photographer

York House in Twickenham and its beautiful gardens were the perfect setting for Felicity and Richard's intimate vintage-style wedding. After a lovely ceremony, we took a walk around the gardens for a few couple and group shots. But there was also a little surprise. Richard had arranged for their sweet cockapoo to await for Felicity next to the Naked Ladies fountain. As soon as he was let off the lead, the dog ran straight to Felicity and Richard, and started jumping in delight which provoked much laughter from everyone present! The second surprise was a classic Austin-Healey, which the groom rented to whisk the bride off to their reception venue - The Petersham Hotel, and just in time before the rain settled in. A lovely day, and many congratulations to the married couple!

Wedding Photography at York House

I worked as a wedding photographer at York House on several occesions. It is one of my favourite London wedding venues. The ceremony room inside is bright and spacious, and the gardens are gorgeous with the possibility of photographing by the river as well.

Summer Day / Richmond-upon-Thames Dog Photographer

This post is a little reminder that it is still summer! I photographed Toby the parsons russell terrier a couple of weeks ago on a warm sunny day, which now seems like a distant memory. Although a senior, Toby was so energetic and enjoyed chasing his rugby ball and having a swim in the river. These are a few of my favourite photo from the photoshoot.

Bushy Park Family Photography / Surrey Family Photographer

Happy 1st birthday Ava! I was so delighted to mark this big milestone in this little girl's life with a series of family portraits in beautiful Bushy park. I think we often forget the importance of family portraits especially in today's digital age where we take thousands of selfies and photos of our children, but rarely include the whole family. It is only with the passage of time that we look back on family portraits and appreciate them even more than at the time of taking them. I certanly do! I hope these photos will be a lasting memory for Ava in years to come.

London Dog Photographer in Bushy Park, Hampton, Greater London

This was a fun day in the office! Google and Sky were such fun characters, it was a pleasure to work with them and to try and capture a bit of their character. Google, a shar pei-beagle cross had a kind of regal presence, and Sky the lab was full of joy, energy and love for water. Really enjoyed the morning photographing these two in action in gorgeous Bushy Park and then capturing some relaxing moments at home. I love the family portait!

Camberwell Family Photography / London Family Photographer

I've taken these photos of my dear friend Emma and her family a few weeks ago to mark the birth of her second daughter, Clara. I photographed Ellie a couple of times since she was born and it was so nice to see her become big sister. Last time I photographed her, she was about one and not nearly as active as she was this time. I had a fun (and challenging!) time trying to capture Ellie being thrown in the air, up on the swings or hiding behind a tree - it was a good practice for my action photography! After the park session we went back home to warm up with some tea, and to take a few more shots of Clara on her own and the girls together. I love the photo where both of them are lying on the floor looking up at the camera! This family photo session in Camberwell was lively and fun, and definitely one of my favourites so far!
