Hampton Hill family photography, Greater London
Fiona has been a long term client of mine so I was really excited when she asked me to take some photos during her sister's visit from Hong Kong.
I love doing family photography in Hampton - lots of lovely parks for outdoor photography and for kids to play in. The boys enjoyed running around the playground and it was great fun to photograph them all three playing and interacting.

Surrey wedding photographer / Destination Wedding in Normandy
I photographed Alexia and Mark during their engagement photo session in central London. It was a gorgeous sunny autumnal day which we spent around Regent’s park and by the River Thames. You can see photos from their couple photoshoot in London here. I was so delighted when they asked me to photograph their big day, at a destination wedding at Le Hommey in Livry, Normandy.
Normandy was the perfect destination for a wedding. It has beautiful countryside, charming villages and so much history, so guests have plenty to do in between wedding engagements, or they can prolong their stay and make a holiday out of it! For me, it was the first time in Normandy and I thoroghly enjoyed visiting small villages, D-Day beaches and driving through the countryside. Here are a few photos I took on the way to the wedding, and on the way home.
The wedding ceremony was held at a village hall; an intimate ceremony attended by family, witnesses and closest friends. It was an emotional, warm ceremony and a prelude of what was to come on the day of the wedding reception.
The wedding day started with bridal preparations and bridal portraits at the family home. After we’ve finished with bridal photography, I left to go to the reception venue where the groom was waiting and the guests were gathering. The setting was lovely - an old barn conversion with lots of land around and its very own private lake. The wedding party was set in the shaded area overlooking the lake, where bride and groom exchanged their wedding vows and heard readings from their family and friends. One of the highlights for me was Alexia’s grandma singing a French song with everyone joining in celebration. I love those little personal touches! It was a really fun wedding with family and friends arriving from all corners of the world - everyone made it and had a fantastic time, including myself. Many many congratulations to the happy couple - I wish you happiness, love and good fortune in years to come!

London family photography, Dulwich and Peckham Rye
I photographed Ellie and her parents in Peckham Rye Park and Common a few weeks ago, on a bright and sunny July morning. Ellie started walking not so long ago so she was very enthusiastic to practice her newly found skill.
As a London and Surrey family photographer, I get to discover new places and spend time with families in their favourite parks. Peckham Rye Park has some terrific areas and backgrounds for photography, with pretty gardens, open spaces and wild areas. My family photo sessions are always done at a location of your choice, and are tailored to your specific needs.
If you would like to enquire about or book a family photo session, please contact me through my website or call me on 07793 677 867 - I would love to hear from you!
Newborn photoshoot, Epsom
I was delighted when I got contacted to take photos of a brand new baby girl, Grace who was only 12 days old when I met her.
It was lovely to spend some time with Grace and her family, and capture these really special moments. What made it even more special is that I got to photograph her with her big brother, who was a baby himself last time I saw him.
If you would like to book a newborn photoshoot with me, please contact me in your second or third trimester to let me know when you are due. It is best to photograph newborns in the first few weeks after the birth so I will do my best to have some flexibility around your due date.
Maternity photoshoot, Richmond-upon-Thames
One of the great things about my job is being able to capture special moments in people's lives. This lovely lady was just over 30 weeks pregnant and wanted some photos of her baby bump as a memory, which was a great pleasure and privilage to document.
My maternity photoshoots are tailored to fullful the needs of my clients - they can be organised outside in your favourite park, in the comfort of your home or both. This photo session was done at home which made it extra cosy and relaxing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this session and I am very much looking forward to meeting the new arrival!
Family photoshoot, Dulwich, London Borough of Southwark
I recently spent a fun morning in Dulwich park, South East London taking photos of this little charmer. Lewyn is such a sweet little boy - really easy going and so smiley. He was feeling a bit under the weather on the day we arranged our photoshoot, but as soon as we got to the park he was happy to show off his newly acquired walking skills and enjoyed riding his little red scooter. We finished the photoshoot with a few cozy captures at home.
Late winter/early spring is a great time for outdoor photography. The overcast days, although slightly depressing looking, work really well in photography as clouds diffuse the light to give even lighting on the subjects. Lack of colourful plants and flowers make it easier to find areas where colours are part of the same family, avoiding introduction of primary colours such as red, green and blue into the background. Although these colours can work great in photographs, their presence in backgrounds requires special attention as they can draw focus away from the subject. Bare tree branches and trunks come in a variety of brown, ochre and green tones. These, together with green tones of evergreen plants are a part of the same colour palette which work lovely as a simple backdrop. Placing your subjects in a scene where colours are similar will create a visually pleasing photograph, and will make your subjects the main focus of attention.
Capturing family memories is great any time of the year. If you would like to book a session in your area, park or in the comfort of your home, please contact me through my website, or via email at mina.milanovic@hotmail.com
Jango the Spanish Water Dog at Warwick
The day after Jango's appearance at the Crufts, we went to Warwick to take some more candid shots for Jango's Facebook page and promotional material. It was a lovely warm spring day, Warwick provided some beautiful backdrops for our photo session, and Jango enjoyed having his photo taken and being admired by passers-by. I thoroughly enojoyed this photo shoot and I wish Jango every success in his future show career! For more images from the day, please click on the link below.
Crufts 2016, NEC, Birmingham
I was recently commissioned to photograph Jango the Spanish Water Dog at the Crufts dog show in Birmingham. I used to go to dog shows when I was a little girl, but I have never been to the Crufts and was so excited to go! Jango came all the way from America, after recently winning best in breed at the prestigious Westminster Dog Show in New York, and was making his first appearance in the UK. Unfortunately, he didn't take the same title this time, but he clearly enjoyed being shown and all the attention he received from his new fans. Here is a selection of images from the day. More to follow later on this week!
Newborn photoshoot, Ruislip, Greater London_Baby photographer London and Surrey
I was asked to photograph baby Jasmine when she was around a month old. It was such a pleasure to finally meet this bundle of cuteness after photographing her expectant mum and dad last summer in Richmond park. She was the most active newborn baby I've met so far, and was constantly kicking, arm waving and wiggling. She stayed awake during multiple outfit and background changes, individual and group shots, tireless and ready for action - a real pro! Her Wonder Woman onesie was definitely the right choice of outfit! She eventually dosed off in her parents' arms just long enough for me to get a few sleeping frames. Then she was up again and ready for round 2. For a selection of images from this session, please visit my blog.
Maternity Photoshoot / Surrey Maternity Photographer
I was really keen to capture a few silhouettes and partial silhouettes of Sheena's baby bump. My lighting system was misbehaving on the day, and after failing to fix a problem with my wireless transmitter I was ready to throw in the towel and admit defeat. The last resort was to try and use studio lights without the flash function, which actually worked really well and enabled me to capture a few timeless images of Sheena's third trimester baby bump which I am really proud of. We also did a short outdoors session in between the rain with now proud dad Rajiv. Thank you guys for a challenging yet fun afternoon, and looking forward to meeting the new member of Patel family!
