Jango the Spanish Water Dog at Warwick

The day after Jango's appearance at the Crufts, we went to Warwick to take some more candid shots for Jango's Facebook page and promotional material. It was a lovely warm spring day, Warwick provided some beautiful backdrops for our photo session, and Jango enjoyed having his photo taken and being admired by passers-by. Crufts 2016, NEC, Birmingham

I was recently commissioned to photograph Jango the Spanish Water Dog at the Crufts dog show in Birmingham. I used to go to dog shows when I was a little girl, but I have never been to the Crufts and was so excited to go! Jango came all the way from America, after recently winning best in breed at the prestigious Westminster Dog Show in New York, and was making his first appearance in the UK. Unfortunately, he didn't take the same title this time, but he clearly enjoyed being shown and all the attention he received from his new fans. Here is a selection of images from the day.
